Hi, I’m Nicola – the founder of Enjoy Yourself Events, an event management and planning company based in Colchester, Essex.

With over 25 years experience in the events, entertainment and hospitality industry, I’ve built a career around bringing people together and creating memorable experiences. Since 2006, I’ve successfully run my own company in the live entertainment sector, planning and promoting events nationwide – from comedy nights and live music to community and charity fundraisers.

I’m hands-on from start to finish, managing everything from initial concepts and venue negotiations to marketing, logistics and post-event evaluation. I love turning ideas into well-attended, stress-free events that people genuinely enjoy.

My background also includes managing pubs and working as a Licensing Officer for a local council, so I have a strong understanding of licensing, compliance and customer experience. This means you can trust your event is in safe, capable hands – whether it’s a private party, corporate function, community gathering or creative showcase.

Being local to Colchester, I’m passionate about supporting Essex businesses, venues and community groups. I pride myself on being organised, calm under pressure and easy to work with – and I truly care about making every event special.
